Primary Purpose: The LPN Float Nurse (LPN/or RN) is under the supervision and guidance of the Regional Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing (DON) and the Executive Director (ED) of the Community in which they are assigned. The Travel Nurse will assist the DON and the Executive Director of the Community in the day-to-day operation of the residence support services and supervises the health care given within the residence. The Travel Nurse must not leave the Community during their shift. In the case of a personal emergency, the RDON, the DON and the Executive Director of the Community must be notified. The Travel Nurse will not leave the premises until properly relieved. The Travel Nurse may be assigned other duties by the RDON, and/or DON and the Executive Director of the Community.
