The RBT is responsible for providing direct one-on-one ABA therapy to individuals with autism and related developmental disorders. The RBT works under the direct supervision of a BCBA to implement behavior intervention plans, individualized treatment plans, and collect data to monitor progress. Responsibilities ABA Therapy Implementation: Assist BCBA in preparation of client materials, conducting initial assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify target behaviors and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs). Provide direct ABA therapy utilizing both intensive teaching and natural environment training, as outlined in the client’s individualized treatment plan protocols. Record accurate data as specified in the client’s individualized treatment plan and provide feedback to the BCBA regarding the client’s progress and areas of need.
