The entry-level R&D Chemist's main role will be the non-routine chemical and/or physical analysis of raw materials and finished floor covering solutions by utilizing established test methods such as ASTM, ISO or internal protocols. There will also be emphasis on novel method development as needed to support future endeavors of Tarkett. Another area of necessity will be using various physical, chemical & software-driven applications to develop intelligent solutions to testing, monitoring and grading of laboratory samples.
