Job Profile Summary Under immediate supervision, this position performs a range of specialized duties of a paraprofessional nature relating to the acquisitions, cataloging, and processing of library materials and the maintenance of the library's online catalog. This position utilizes considerable responsibility in making independent decisions in the application of general concepts and rules to specific bibliographic needs. Minimum Education: Associates Degree. Bachelor's Degree preferred. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered. Minimum Experience/Training: Three to five years related library experience. Essential Functions: Weekly - 10%: Assists with preservation, maintenance, shifting, and disposal of physical library material. Provides minor book repairs.
