TITLE: Aerial Lineman DEPARTMENT (S): Wireline (Cable/Fiber) DIRECT REPORTs: None Pay Rate: $23-$30 Per Hour DOE POSITION SUMMARY A successful Aerial Construction Lineman shall access specific areas to install, maintain, and/or repair a customer's telecommunications equipment. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications construction; familiarity with aerial lift devices, utility lines and poles, and the functionality of each; ability to use cable placement equipment and tools; ability to identify and troubleshoot problems. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Ensures adherence to and demonstrates a sound understanding of safety best practices and regulations Able to build aerial plant to include running/lashing/over lashing strand, coax, and fiber cables in new and rebuild construction.
