Title : Accounts Payable Accountant Job Type : Contract to Hire Location : San Francisco, CA (Onsite - 5 days/week) Pay : $35 - $40 / hour Internal ID : 10040122 Overview : The Accounts Payable Accountant manages the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring accurate and timely vendor payments. This includes processing invoices, managing approvals and coding, disbursing funds via various methods (check, ACH, wire transfer), maintaining the vendor database, administering corporate credit cards, and general accounting. Job Duties: Handle the entire invoice process, from receiving and approving invoices to training staff on the necessary systems. Keep vendor information up-to-date, including contact details, payment schedules, and tax documents. Record and process accounts payable transactions in the general ledger, performing journal entries and reconciliations. Verify invoice accuracy by comparing them to contracts and receiving reports, and resolve any differences. Process vendor payments
