Diversified Housing Development, Inc. is a non-profit housing agency committed to the availability of adequate affordable housing in Baltimore County. DHD recognizes the importance of preserving and promoting the viability and stability of our countys older neighborhoods through homeownership. Diversified Housing Development was founded by Shavaugn Jackson out of a need for quality housing counseling services in Western Baltimore County. Since 2006 diversified has provided downpayment and closing cost assistance to hundreds of families. DHD has educated and counseled thousands through our monthly homebuyer workshops and individual counseling. The staff and services of DHD continue to grow. Since 2006 DHD has grown to offer Foreclosure Counseling, A Future Homebuyers Club, Food Pantry, Housing Development and Weatherization Services.
