Job Responsibilities: Conduct Pre-Operational Inspections to verify equipment, utensils, and production areas meet food safety standards before startup. Identify and document sanitation deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are completed. Work closely with Operations, Sanitation, and USDA Inspectors to clear the plant for production. Prioritize tasks efficiently to balance Pre-Op Inspections, USDA checks, and production startup timelines. Verify and sign off on Pre-Op inspection records, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Communicate inspection results and any delays to Production and Quality leadership. Assist with USDA inspections, addressing concerns while ensuring compliance. Monitor plant conditions before startup, ensuring all areas remain compliant with food safety standards.
