Job Posting Description Abstracts, sequences and assigns diagnosis, procedure codes and accurate DRG assignment to medical records of inpatients, as required for reimbursement and maintenance of patient database. The Medical Records Coding Specialist will be responsible for: Abstracting, sequencing, and assigning diagnosis and procedure codes according to ICD-10-CM coding conventions and Uniform Hospital Discharge Data Set (UHDDS) definitions.
