Chelsea Place Care Center is currently looking for a per diem Security Specialist. Summary: The primary role of the Security Specialist is to implement the facility's security program in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that resident and employee safety can be maintained through appropriate security measures. Responsibilities: •Inspect bags/ boxes and any unusual looking items visitors and residents have when entering/exiting the building. •Maintain sign in/ sign out log. Make sure all visitors and residents sign in and out. •Resident gatekeeper, ensuring residents without privileges do not leave the facility. •Monitors security system. •Ensures security system is engaged and operating correctly. •Notifies Administrator of maintenance needs of security equipment •Notifies supervisor when stepping away from the work area. This includes the close of scheduled shift. •
