POSITION DETAILS Position Summary The Defense Quality Engineer (DQE) will support the business in the areas of Material Review Board (MRB), new product development, lean implementation, process capability improvement, daily production support, (including in-process and final inspection, process and product auditing), technical data interpretation/analysis (engineering drawings, specifications, technical publications, purchase orders review, and quality system management. The QE must be knowledgeable of statistical process controls, dimensional inspection metrology, and Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, IATF, TS16949, etc.) The QE primarily interfaces with Customers, Suppliers, Sales/Contracts, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Operations.
