Beyond Emancipation serves current and former foster and probation youth residing in Alameda County who meet all of the following criteria: placed out-of-home through the California child welfare or juvenile justice systems; for at least one day after their 16th birthday; in any of the following: foster home, group home, residential treatment, probation or Kin-Gap Generally, we serve youth aged 18-24. All of our services are available to youth aged 18-20. Starting at 21, eligibility varies by program area.
