Perform research and lead research projects focused on multi-dimensional internal combustion engine (ICE) modeling, by leveraging computational fluid dynamics (CFD) techniques and high-performance computing (HPC) resources. Perform/lead research on high-fidelity simulations of complex physical processes in internal combustion engines (ICEs), such as fuel injection, combustion, etc. Perform/lead the development of CFD sub-models necessary to enable predictive ICE simulations, specifically for low-carbon fuels (e.g., H2, NH3), when using commercial or open-source CFD software.
