Job Summary: The ONT-Drop Splicing Technician is tasked with installing the Optical Network Terminal to the side of the home (the fiber optic subscriber drop will already have been placed and will typically be on the AC power connection side), splicing the fiber optic subscriber drop, testing the drop for signal, grounding, bonding, and stowing as required, along with any labeling and completing any job completion documentation. This role requires a good working knowledge of fiber optics, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various environments.
