Position Summary: Our Greenville, South Carolina office has the opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join the Firms expanding practice. This position will report to the General Accounting Manager and be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks. Essential Functions: Complete daily bank account reconciliations for our disbursement account, including researching variances, returned payments including checks and ACHs, and any other discrepancies as needed. Approve daily bank transactions initiated by administrative departments (Accounts Payable, HR/Payroll, International Accounting and Budgeting). Initiate and/or approve wire/ACH transactions between bank accounts as required and post journal entry. Prepare and post journal entries such as bank fees, medical administrative fees, payroll tax and other direct debit journal entries as needed.
