The Eve Center is strictly a volunteer organization and is not equipped to provide primary care for women exhibiting active mental illness although many of our clients are in a healing and stabilized position and therefore we are glad to be a part of her support system. The Eve Center cannot be her primary point of service. The Eve Center is strictly a volunteer organization and is not equipped to provide primary care for women exhibiting active, regular use of drugs and alcohol. Our clients may struggle with drugs and alcohol but are in a healing and stabilized position and therefore we are glad to be a part of her support system. The Eve Center cannot be her only point of service for alcohol and drug dependence and/or addiction. We also are not trained to assist children and therefore it is usually inappropriate to see a child below the age of 13 years. While a wide range of education and experience is represented throughout the volunteers, all are simply that at the Eve Center, volunteers. Eve Center does not offer any financial, legal, or housing assistance. We are glad to provide resource contact information. WTS writes: "Eve Center provides a safe place for women ages 13 and above to come to get encouragement on a spiritual, biblical basis. Though the staff is not professional, their contribution is one of a para-professional. They come along side of other women to walk her through some of life's rough spots, so that she can stand strengthened and independent. We walk with them "through the valley" so they may again enter into the sunshine."
