Responsibilities include using tools/equipment such as micrometer, calipers and gages, studies blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine dimensions and tolerance of finished workpiece and starting machine operation to adjust machine controls. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES Reviews and follows Safety policies and procedures. Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, Adcole reports, and CMM reports, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, tools, attachments, locators, accessories, and materials on machines. Understand and know when to change tools. Understand Offsets and adjustments and how they are made.
