Job Description Job Description SSC is seeking qualified applicants for an age group coach position, primarily working with swimmers ages 6-14, but should be able to coach all age groups. The interested applicant should have prior experience and be willing to coach under the direction and philosophy of SSC’s leadership. The applicant must be willing to work at least 2 evenings per week (practices are held during the 4:15-9:00 pm time frame) and available to work either Saturday or Sunday practices. Applicants must work USA swimming meets approximately 1 weekend per month. The candidate must have (or be willing to obtain) USA Swimming Coaches Certification (which includes Safety Training for Swim Coaches, CPR, First Aid), and up to date background checks (per USA Swimming guidelines).
