Flickinger Wines is a retailer of fine and rare wines. We created this company to satisfy the demand of wine buyers who like to buy older wines that are not available at their local retailer. We hold inventory of old and rare vintages of the world's greatest and rarest wines in our temperature-controlled cellar. We obtain our wines from various sources including customers who find they would like to reallocate their cellars to different types of wines, thin their collections, or simply take advantage of the market. We only take on wines that have been optimally stored and each bottle is inspected for its condition. Many of these are simply unavailable elsewhere, while our more recent vintages are frequently offered at unbeatable prices. Flickinger is positioned in the fine wine market through a strategy of low margins and quick turnover. While most of our customers are knowledgeable consumers of the fine and rare, we often help those who are newer to wine collecting, know what they like and are in the process of building their cellars. Each of our sales staff has considerable wine trade experience and between us we have tasted many of the thousands of wines that are featured here. We pride ourselves in developing and maintaining relationships with our clients.
