Harold ran his store using the principles of high quality, friendly service and low prices. Harold's business grew and he opened the first No Frills in 1980 at 18th & Broadway in Council Bluffs, Iowa as the first warehouse supermarket in the area. He soon converted his store in Ashland to a No Frills and continued to grow his company by opening stores in Bellevue, Omaha, Denison and Blair. Throughout the 1990's, No Frills grew, adding more stores, more departments and more services. Our stores include everything from full service delis and bakeries to floral departments and pharmacies that deliver; from in-store butchers and seafood departments to big, beautiful produce departments. Every day we strive to grow and improve to fit our customers' needs. Today, our company boasts 18 outstanding locations serving a wide variety of communities.
