It is one of the largest school districts, geographically (120 square miles) and is primarily a rural/suburban district. All or part of the eight townships are included. The K-12 enrollment of the district is approximately 1,200 students housed in a single building that consists of three distinct areas:Joseph Henry Elementary School (K-5)Galway Middle School (6-8)Galway High School (9-12)A professional staff of approximately 110 provides a comprehensive educational program for the students. Recent capital construction has included a middle school addition, new athletic fields and upgrades of the existing building. Galway has a sophisticated computer network and participates in the Saratoga Adirondack Network that provides distance-learning opportunities for enrichment.
