Over the years, GCU grew in members and services and continues to grow today. Membership eligibility is available to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Geauga, Trumbull, Portage or Ashtabula Counties by opening a Share (savings) account with a $5.00 deposit. Once youre a member, youre always a member; even if you move out of Geauga County. By joining the Credit Union, members are eligible for all of GCUs services.GCU services include: Debit and ATM Cards, Visa credit cards, real-time online banking, E-statements, and bill pay, among other services. GCU also offer loans to purchase your next vehicle, including motorcycles, ATV and horse & buggy! Geauga Credit Union added a Commercial Lending Department to help small businesses with their financial needs. We now offer Small Commercial Loans and would like to expand into other products for businesses in the future. We have staff that can visit a business owner to discuss their needs. In addition, we can visit with their employees in the workplace and discuss what GCU has to offer. We can offer payroll deduction to their employees as a means to build savings as well a paying a loan.
