Simply put, Global GAIN's believes that the solution to most of the significant problems in the world is to elect more women and minorities/people of color at every level of office. Our BHAG is simple: gender parity for women & minorities in public office all over the world. Our mission is to build a network of people dedicated to this cause and to recruit, train, and support their work. Global GAIN seeks to build meaningful connections across communities and cultures with a special emphasis on lifting up women and young political, civic, and entrepreneurial leaders in the US and globally in developing democracies. Global GAIN will engage and connect individual leaders in politics and advocacy who want to channel their talents and utilize their networks to promote individual women and specific, manageable, measurable globally impactful programs. Global GAIN seeks to be a platform for creative and new ideas and an incubator for them. We seek to create a new kind of Think and Do Tank. We will not replicate any efforts but look for ways to collaborate with like-minded organization and leaders and build a resource center for them. Our programs will focus online and in person through a series of networking events, trainings, retreats, and conferences.
