Good Farms Angus is a family owned and operated ranch located on the northern edge of the Kansas Flint Hills near Olsburg, and was started by Dr. Don Good and his wife, Jane, in 1961. Craig and his wife, Amy, returned to the family business in 1981. Both are graduates of Kansas State University where Craig studied Animal Science. The Good family has been breeding purebred Angus cattle at this location for the past 54 years. The foundation of the Angus herd began in 1961 with the purchase of 8 daughters of O Bardoliermere 32nd from Michigan State University. Over the span of years, high quality, high performance, sound structured bulls have been the backbone for the Good's herd. In recent history, Good Farms has relied extensively on artificial insemination, using bulls that are proven, high accuracy leaders in the Angus breed using a balanced approach to our selection criteria. A strong foundation has been laid in the Good's cow herd and using today's many selection tools they will continue to improve and build into the future.
