Bus Driver Reports to: Director of Transportation Qualifications The Bus Driver should be able to: Meet age requirements: At least twenty-one (21) Under seventy (70). A person may be allowed to drive a bus after July 1 following their seventieth birthday, but only if they can pass an annual medical and written examination. Obtain a Missouri Commercial Driver's License, Class B or higher, and a Missouri school bus operator's permit. Maintain good physical and mental health, free from communicable disease and have normal use of both arms, hands, legs, and feet. Vision shall be at least 20/20 in one eye with 20/40 vision in the other eye, or 20/30 vision in both eyes, with correction if necessary.
