Hickory Log is a safe place whose mission is to love all people with a heart of compassion, service, and grace, and to provide a safe place to call home for men with special needs. We are a private, non-profit personal care home that offers communal housing for up to twenty-four men living with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities as well as those with traumatic brain injuries. Hickory Log currently houses eighteen residents, several of which have called Hickory Log home for over twenty years; some as long as forty-five years. The men receive vocational skills, job training, meals, shelter, medication, management, financial management, and have the opportunity to attend regular outings. We are a personal care home located in the small community of White, Georgia which is in Bartow County. This year, in 2020, we are celebrating our 50th year of serving men living with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities as well as those with traumatic brain injuries. Aided by immense community support and the investment of the Board of Directors, Hickory Log's passionate staff foster a loving, supporting, and empowering environment in which our residents can enjoy life.
