For 50 years, ICON has been a major factor in the Northwest construction as a builder of infrastructure, transportation and site development, as well as a supplier of aggregates and asphalt. ICON Materials still continues to be a driving force in the construction, paving and aggregate supply industry. ICON Materials has many major projects we have performed in the Puget Sound region. The Third Runway at SeaTac Airport, complete reconstruction of the Main Runway at SeaTac, installation of the HOV Lanes on Highway 167, and the Pierce County Terminal in the Port of Tacoma are just some of the projects ICON Materials has completed. Besides major projects, ICON Materials has the flexibility, knowledge and experience to handle small ones as well. ICON can patch roadways, pave parking lots, do small job site work and perform overlays of existing pavement. The diversity of ICON Materials allows us to meet all the needs of our customers. We have a Construction Division that builds highways, roads, airports and can perform site development. Over the years, many of the major highways and roads have been built or reconstructed by ICON Materials. ICON Materials has done work on most of the major airports in the region including SeaTac, Boeing Field, Bellingham, Renton, Olympia, Bremerton and Auburn airports. Besides the major projects, the Construction Division can also do site work for commercial development, small road projects and other commercial endeavors.
