General Statement of Duties: The Radiologic Technologist Surgery takes images of various portions of the body by operating radiologic equipment according to developmental factors and age specifics under supervision and as directed by a Physician. Only considering Rad Techs with Operating Room experience at this time. Required to have an Associate's Degree in this field and MUST HAVE ARRT certification from the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA) Essential Duties: Operates radiology equipment, including but not limited to: OEC C-arm, O-arm, Siemens, AMX portable, mini OEC and mini ortho scan. Operates radiology equipment with knowledge of the following: total joint placement and replacement, ORIF and arthroscopic surgeries on all extremities, spine general, and physiatry. Intra-operative and post-operative portable imaging. Assists physicians with image guided injections, under physician guidance. Passes medications needed during exams.
