POSITION SUMMARY The Application Engineer/Estimator is responsible for structuring customer orders into the ERP system. This is achieved by constructing the project framework, creating production routers and purchase orders in order to meet the customer's requirements and provide pricing for the completed project. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Review the project request with the customer and/or salesperson. Review all customer supplied drawings, specifications, data, etc. For repairs, evaluate gearbox to determine necessary repairs and scope of work. Determine preliminary designs and specifications.
