Overview: The Reactor Plant Planning Yard (RPPY) has an opening for a highly motivated On-Site Representative at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard (PHNS). The RPPY routinely provides technical support to the PHNS Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department (NEPD) for the maintenance, modernization, repair, and upkeep of reactor plants on commissioned LOS ANGELES and VIRGINIA Class submarines. The On-Site Representative will act as a liaison between PHNS and the RPPY in Groton, CT, and will provide subject matter expert support with engineering, design, production, and testing, as well as material acquisition assistance associated with submarine upkeep and repair. This position requires excellent communication skills at all levels, exceptional customer focus, and the ability to work successfully remotely.
