Overview: The Perioperative Cardiothoracic-Vascular procedures Service Line Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the coordination of care for patients undergoing cardiothoracic-vascular procedures. This position educates, and trains the team members associated with the designated specialty to include the nurses and surgical technologists. Assists in maintenance of service line equipment, instruments and supplies by working closely with the leaders in those areas. Functions as a value analysis liaison between the surgeons and the materials management facilitator.
