The world's leading specialist engineering contractor for low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) projects has an immediate a need for a Senior Machinery Technologist specializing in gear pumps, extruders and pelletizers within polyolefins (HDPE, LLDPE, LDPE, EVA, POE, etc.) manufacturing operations. YOUR ROLE WITH THE COMPANY: This position reports directly to the Polyolefin Solutions Business Unit Director Provide input as a lead mechanical engineer on the definition on gear pumps, extruders and pelletizers among different technologies and, mainly, to provide feedback on vendor proposals for greenfield projects. Provide input as a lead mechanical engineer as consultant on reliability issues, optimizations, upgrades, etc. for brownfield projects. Review and develop operational procedures for gear pumps, extruders and pelletizers as necessary for each project.
