Each of them are extremely experienced individuals who specialize in business planning, estate and retirement planning, and forensic accounting. They are highly qualified consultants for mergers and acquisitions and computer consulting. In December 1984, Mr. Kopco started Kopco & Company. From 1978 - 1984 he was associated with a large CPA firm as the tax coordinator for one of their offices. He has represented numerous clients before the Internal Revenue Service and currently services many family-owned businesses. Mr. Kopco is a graduate of the University of Akron and received his MBA from Baldwin-Wallace College. He has been a guest lecturer at Lorain County Community College, Bowling Green State University, the University of Akron and Cuyahoga Community College, and has conducted numerous seminars covering small business matters. In addition, he is an adjunct faculty at Lorain County Community College instructing Accounting Principles I and II, Accounting 267, Federal Income Tax Procedures, Payroll Accounting, and Entrepreneurial Finance. Mr. Kopco also serves on the Accounting Advisory Committee of Lorain County Community College, an organization of business and professional leaders consulting on the educational needs for accountants in the workplace. Barb Wargo has been an employee of Kopco & Company since May 1989. She is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace and a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Ohio. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
