Job Description Recreation Services and the Intramural Sports program are seeking students to join our team for the spring and fall 2025 semesters as an Intramural Sports Supervisor. The Intramural Sports Supervisor is responsible for the on-site supervision of Intramural Sports Officials and administration of the various Intramural Sports activities. Supervision will include multiple activities that can occur simultaneously. An Intramural Sports Supervisor must have a comprehensive knowledge of team sport and individual / dual activities. Experience as an official at The University of Kansas or similar situation is preferred, but not required. An Intramural Sports Supervisor will work in collaboration with other Intramural Sports Supervisors mostly afternoons (beginning at approximately 4:00p) and evenings, Sunday through Thursday with some Friday hours. This individual will have supervision from the Assistant Director for Intramural Sports and three Intramural Sports Program Managers

PURPOSE OF JOB: Provide leadership for the school's entire athletic program through the ongoing development, implementation and improvement of the specific sport coached. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Compete with a full team in a complete varsity schedule (according to MSHSAA standards). 2. Implement and enforce athletic standards as outlined in the MSHSAA Handbook and attend all MSHSAA required sessions for head coaches and District professional development meetings. 3. Responsible for student supervision at practices and contests in accordance with KCMSD Athletic Department. 4. Assume responsibility for constant care of equipment and inventory being used. Inspect all athletic equipment and facilities (verify inventory) and submit documentation to Athletic Director/Principal. 5.
