Job Function/Purpose: Responsible for managing and preparing multiple estimating activities for the Company in accordance with Director of Pre-Construction’s direction and policies. 1) Implement strategies and techniques to ensure award of projects bid. This responsibility requires review and analysis of proposal specifications, drawings, and participation in pre-bid meetings, etc. in order to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate. 2) Prepare accurate cost estimates at the conceptual, design development, and construction documents level to meet the design intent. Prepare all final estimate packages for company and client use, ensuring all necessary back-up data and documentation is accurate and complete. 3) Plays a significant role in project interviews and estimate presentations. 4) Responsible for developing accurate and detailed project budget and schedule, and manages project to assure adherence thereto.
