PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Moves material and other items from receiving to storage or to other designated areas with the use of power equipment, i.e. forklift and order-picker. PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Responsible for the profitability, productivity and maintenance of all hot mix asphalt plants Company-wide. Establish, monitors and controls plant operating costs. Prepares budget/ forecasts/ reports. Manages plant inventories (liquid asphalt, aggregate, RAP, fuel, etc) and maintains a proper inventory level for continued operations. Manages plant projects; ie: plant mobilizations, repairs, modifications, improvements, etc. Manages plant personnel and facilities to comply with OSHA safety regulations, environmental compliances, and permits. Perform daily equipment, walk around, and site inspections to identify and correct unsafe conditions and maintain equipment properly. Manages and coordinates plant operations with Paving, QA/QC, Quarry, Sales, and Trucking operations. Manages the utilization and maintenance of the asphalt plant facilities and related rolling stock.
