The candidate for this role ideally has several years of safety experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably chemical manufacturing. We are also requiring a 4-year degree for the role. This role is mostly focused on compliance with OSHA standards. They need to have experience with performing field safety audits. Hopefully audits of life critical procedures similar to ours; lock out/ tag out, hot work, confined space entry. To go with the experience of auditing, they need to have the soft skills to coach and interact with employees at alllevels.
