Courses are offered at the College Preparatory and Advanced Placement levels. High school students must also complete twenty hours of community service each year. Cumulative GPA includes all grades earned during the ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grades. Transfer in students' Cumulative GPA reflects all grades earned from other schools including Mount Carmel. All grades earned from other high schools or summer programs that are valued at the college preparatory level, Advanced Placement Classes and Honor Classes are (4.33). The top mark is A+, while the bottom mark is F. Advanced Placement courses are only offered to 11th and 12th grades and include AP History, AP United States Government and Politics, AP English Literature and Composition, AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, Calculus AB, AP Computer Science Principles and AP Psychology.
