Our local police are under-staffed and under-resourced; unless they are on the scene when a crime occurs, it can take them anywhere from minutes to hours to respond to even the most severe attack. So - the FIRST line of defense against any criminal act has got to be the "victim" (or the intended victim). It's not just me that believes this. Since I started this business in 2012: I've delivered stun guns to Pizza Delivery drivers who are afraid of being held up while on a run; I've sold multiple types of personal defense items (stun guns, pepper spray, and hi-intensity flashllghts) to customers who have been advised BY THE POLICE to get some protection that they can use against aggressive neighbors; I've sold over 100 stun guns to college students who are afraid to walk across their campuses at night; I've sold dozens of flashlight stun guns to convenience store clerks who work the midnight shift and have been told to make sure the trash is carried out (that is "outside") before the day shift reports for work; I've provided stun guns and pepper spray to single mothers who are terrified of their abusive spouses; and I've been thanked dozens of times by people who have used the stun guns I've sold them to protect themselves against aggressive dogs.
