The National Association of Left-handed Golfers (NALG) was established in 1936 with their inaugural National Left-handed Championship held at Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis, Missouri. One hundred and forty-seven players from 24 states participated. Quite a feat during the midst of the Great Depression. The inaugural National Juniors Left-handed Championship will take place December 28 and 29, 2021 at Palm Aire Country Club in Sarasota, Florida. Registration opens September 1 and continues to December 1 or the first 100 players registered and paid. The Championship is open to Boys and Girls, ages 10 18, and will be played in age divisions.
