OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES Under general guidance, responsible for development of project elements into functional plans, elevations and sections consistent with project scope, and managing own time consistent with project schedule. Looking for an engineer and/or solid modeler to help support our product development team with bringing new automotive wheel designs to market as well as supporting other engineering projects. Responsibilities Take design concepts and turn them into digital models for design review, build out all the different variations of each design, including running FEA and preparing models for CNC programming. Other engineering projects like vehicle fitment scanning and data management will also be a responsibility. Qualifications BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred but not required. Strong solid modeling skills required and strong surfacing skills preferred. PTC Creo skills highly desired, but Solidworks, Fusion360, etc. experience will transfer.

This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.
