JOB DESCRIPTION Managing a team of Senior Engineers responsible for the review/approval of engineering plans for residential subdivision and linear project development in the County, ensuring that plans comply with State and Federal requirements for erosion control and stormwater management, to include the Virginia Stormwater Management Program (VSMP) and Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act, as well as with the County’s Stormwater Management and Water Quality, Floodplain Management, and other applicable ordinances. Conferring with consulting engineers, developers, and contractors. Responding to inquiries or complaints from the public pertaining to erosion control and drainage issues.
