Description POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Health Center Director, the Camp Nurse will assist the Head Nurse with the general operation of the Health Center, focusing on the medical care and well-being of our Campers and Staff. They are responsible for managing these functions in accordance with the stated mission, goals, and policies established by the administrative staff, governing committees, and Board of Directors of the YMCA. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Work closely with the Head Nurse to ensure the safety of campers and staff. Have a working knowledge of drugs and medications; safeguarding camper's and staff prescription medications. Assist with administering medications at the prescribed dosage and time.
