Pacer Times is the award-winning, student-run news organization at the University of South Carolina Aiken. Content is published weekly, along with daily or breaking news as necessary. Pacer Times is a member of the Associated Collegiate Press and South Carolina Press Association. Noelle Kriegel is a senior English major and philosophy minor. She plans on pursuing a Ph.D. in literary criticism with a concentration in hermeneutics or rhetoric. She enjoys viewing and writing literature through both analytic, research-oriented perspectives as well as by its aesthetic properties. Outside of USC Aiken, Kriegel is a Junior Olympic Compulsory gymnastics coach and frequently travels with her team to competitions, representing the state of Georgia. Erica Bennett is a junior Music Performance major and Business minor. After graduation, she plans on pursuing a Masters in Business Administration. On campus, Bennett also serves as the Secretary for the National Society of Leadership and Success. Off campus, Bennett owns and runs her own small business, Doodle-Bugz Cookies, LLC. Jillian Paige Hicks is a sophomore communication major and political science minor. After graduation, she intends on becoming an editor at the Washington Post to maintain transparent, unbiased media. Outside of USC Aiken, Hicks maintains her art partnership business, Trippy Realists.
