About PADRE Foundation
Our mission is to provide educational classes, support groups and psychosocial events for all children with Type 1 diabetes, as well as for their parents and siblings. We support community education on type 1 diabetes and disease management. The PADRE Foundation also partners with research efforts aimed at better detection, prevention and management of Type 1 diabetes and toward finding a cure.
