In the 1960's, Pepco got its start manufacturing television parts, which in the 70's, evolved into the development and production of color television cameras. The 80's landed Pepco right in the middle of technological revolution with the production of transmitters, video recorders and computers. Since its inception in 1960, Pepco has grown from a small three-person "job shop" to one of the largest sheet metal manufacturers in the tri-state area. In nearly forty years, our facility has grown from 1,000 square feet to over 100,000 square feet. This space houses our computerized design, punching, welding, electrostatic painting, powder coating, plating and silk-screening departments - just to name a few. From small brackets to large enclosures, Pepco is a one-stop-shop for all of your metal needs. This diversity in the sheet metal industry has been expanded into our own telecommunication line. The Pepco cabinet, which we have been producing for over 25 years, is well known throughout the country as top quality, world-class enclosure. With many standard sizes available, configured to your exact specifications, we can ship standard product in five working days or less. In 2001, Pepco acquired the Premier cabinet line. This quality enclosure line, which has been produced since 1948, offers a variety of different sizes and configurations now being produced in the Somerdale location. If you visit our plant, you can see our growth and transition into lean manufacturing.
