The Qi lab studies gene regulatory pathways using the emerging discipline of chemical biology. The successful candidate will work with an interdisciplinary team of scientists including medicinal chemists, biochemists, computational biologists, and cancer biologists to develop novel inhibitors of chromatin modifying enzymes, such as methyltransferases, demethylases and bromodomains.
