President and CEO Leonard Goldberg, said, "Pierce Memorial Baptist Home has a fifty-three year history of delivering quality care to older adults. Recently, however, what has been a traditional nursing home has grown to include other services for the elderly. Four years ago, for instance, Creamery Brook Retirement Village began; an Adult Day Care Program is firmly in place, which gives caregivers a day off from the arduous task of taking care of an older adult; and we are seeking to begin an assisted living program as well as short-term rehabilitative therapy. Our aim is to provide a continuum of services for older adults, from independent living through skilled nursing care. We needed a new parent name.
