Preferred Charters, LLC, was established in 1982. Since then, this family run business has grown and been providing charters and tours throughout North America. Our ever expanding fleet is conveniently based in the Bay Area, which logistically provides a centralized location for easy service for the entire West Coast. This large, 2-acre facility provides a home not only for our coaches but as well as our corporate office. We are proud to have a very friendly and helpful office staff. Some members of our team have been with the company since it began in 1982. All this makes it easy to book a tour with us and work out your travel and charter arrangements with a staff with many years of related customer service and experience. At Preferred Charters, LLC, we see the importance in keeping up with the latest trends and technologies. We keep our fleet modern and buy new coaches every year. We have the latest computers and communications systems to keep in touch with our fleet and to help manage our day to day operations. In the last number of years, we also became a contract carrier for Amtrak California, supplying coaches for train passengers in Northern California. We operate daily schedules for connections to the Amtrak California and Capitol Corridor Trains. Preferred Charters, LLC, has been written up in many tour and bus periodicals and has received a lot of "good press" over the years.
