Software & Networking

Now for over 25 years, QS has developed software solutions for Public Health agencies with integration as the central theme. However, integration is not just integration within our software or within a single agency. QS pioneered real-time two-way data exchange with immunization registries using HL7; we provide HIPAA compliant electronic claims processing; and we will shortly be releasing our PHIN compliant notifiable disease reporting module. We have learned that it is important both to talk and to listen. Through our experience, we know what works and what doesn't work. We can provide valuable insights to our customers, but we also have to listen to their needs. This synergy between ourselves and our customers to provide a complete solution is symbolized by our company name, QS which is from the Latin quantum sufficit (to make sufficient). The mission of QS Technologies is, then, to serve public and community health agencies through consulting, computerized management information systems and training. Our approach to management information systems is to design and deliver COTS solutions with the flexibility to meet the varied needs of customers in the United States and Canada. The software we will focus on is medical health clinic software, immunization registries, and vital records. Our product lines supporting this focus are the Patient Care Management System (PCMS), Insight clinic management software just for public health, Insight-MPI - Deduplication services and Master Person Index, and the QS Technologies Vital Records System (QSTVRS). In the future we will develop and enhance our systems analysis and consulting capabilities, as well as offer expanded implementation services. We will expand the functionality of our present software offerings. We will be looking to Intranets and the Internet as a way of bring data in a familiar form to more users and will facilitate data interchange by using standards such as HL7. We are committed to introducing new technologies into our products as those technologies ...

What Skills Does a person Need at Qs Technologies Inc?

At Qs Technologies Inc, specify the abilities and skills that a person needs in order to carry out the specified job duties. Each competency has five to ten behavioral assertions that can be observed, each with a corresponding performance level (from one to five) that is required for a particular job.

  1. Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting is a form of problem solving, often applied to repair failed products or processes on a machine or a system. It is a logical, systematic search for the source of a problem in order to solve it, and make the product or process operational again. Troubleshooting is needed to identify the symptoms. Determining the most likely cause is a process of elimination—eliminating potential causes of a problem. Finally, troubleshooting requires confirmation that the solution restores the product or process to its working state. In general, troubleshooting is the identification or diagnosis of "trouble" in the management flow of a system caused by a failure of some kind. The problem is initially described as symptoms of malfunction, and troubleshooting is the process of determining and remedying the causes of these symptoms. A system can be described in terms of its expected, desired or intended behavior (usually, for artificial systems, its purpose). Events or inputs to the system are expected to generate specific results or outputs. (For example, selecting the "print" option from various computer applications is intended to result in a hardcopy emerging from some specific device). Any unexpected or undesirable behavior is a symptom. Troubleshooting is the process of isolating the specific cause or causes of the symptom. Frequently the symptom is a failure of the product or process to produce any results. (Nothing was printed, for example). Corrective action can then be taken to prevent further failures of a similar kind.
  2. Help Desk: The activities involved in handling and resolving customer grievances and issues faster and efficient by a ticketing system.
  3. Customer Service: Customer service is the provision of service to customers before, during and after a purchase. The perception of success of such interactions is dependent on employees "who can adjust themselves to the personality of the guest". Customer service concerns the priority an organization assigns to customer service relative to components such as product innovation and pricing. In this sense, an organization that values good customer service may spend more money in training employees than the average organization or may proactively interview customers for feedback. From the point of view of an overall sales process engineering effort, customer service plays an important role in an organization's ability to generate income and revenue. From that perspective, customer service should be included as part of an overall approach to systematic improvement. One good customer service experience can change the entire perception a customer holds towards the organization.
  4. IT Support: Assisting with managing, maintaining, and repairing business technology to ensure all IT functions work seamlessly.
  5. Technical Support: Offering hands-on assistance and solutions to end-users in addressing and troubleshooting technical issues.
